On The Move Consultants is on the leading edge of a new service industry - helping people accomplish household transitions. We are dedicated to taking the stress out of a move by taking care of any detail that you do not care to handle yourself.

Busy professionals are some of the clients that we serve. Even in the most organized households, we know that the myriad details of getting a house ready to sell - finding a mover, deciding what and what not to move, packing and unpacking, organizing the new house - can take hours of time out of an already busy lifestyle. We are there to help.

Senior Move Management is a specialty of our company. For seniors, a household move is especially trying, as many have been in their homes for a long time and are facing issues of downsizing as well relocating. Going through a house that has been 'home' for decades can be an overwhelming task for seniors trying to do it alone. Our team is there to help guide the client by breaking the job into manageable pieces and offering reasonable solutions for how to deal with everything - all while keeping adult children/family members involved in the process, even if they live miles away.

Organizing for Health and Estate Planning is a service valuable to any age group, at any stage of life. Too often these crucial pieces of information are not collected in a central location, and the thought of gathering them all in one place is overwhelming. We work with you to complete a workbook that contains all the critical information you need to have at the ready.

Cynthia Rhys, President of On The Move Consultants, is an educator, speaker, and professional organizer who has personally experienced the unique challenges of various types of moves. She "smart-sized" and moved cross-country twice in a 3 year span, and has personally experienced with her own family the challenges of sorting through the lifetime accumulation of a 50 year residency. She and her team approach each and every client's move as a unique event, and specialize in giving support and consultation with caring, comprehensive, personalized assistance at every level requested. Cynthia is a Summa cum Laude graduate from the University of Minnesota, where she also earned a Master's Degree. Her speaking presentations include information on 'Moving: Ready or Not?!', and humorous presentations on 'Household Smartsizing'.
